Wrapping up my year and my 24 years!

Long overdue blog… must at least write something to start my year…

 

My 2007 was over and soon I’ll be turning 25 (my birthday is april). I can still remember last year’s january when I was happily formulating my resolutions, secretly knowing that I won’t achieve most of it.

 

Lao’s 2007 Resolutions:

1. like any other resolutions, I promise to lose weight… not heavy just as long as mka two-piece  - check
2. I promise to not be scared anymore and live life to the fullest  - double check
3. I promise to be less guarded and open up more – check
4. I promise to lessen my idealism and embrace other people’s ideas and principles – check
5. I promise to at least be in a fling before the year ends and have my first kiss <hopefully>  - hmm!!! Wahahha!!! Had more pa!
6. I promise to love my crazy friends more coz they’re actually the reason why I’m sane… -Check! Check! Check and Check!!!

 

Yet surprisingly 2007 turned out well and I did what I intend to. Thus 2007 was definitely my year. Wihihi!!!

 

Now that 2008 is starting, I’m facing it with such optimism though dreading the fact that I’ll be 25 and without major achievement. I used to imagine how I would be like @ 25 yet now that it’s fast approaching I’m still in the same state as I was in college, immature, idealistic and stupid but maybe with a little experience wink! Wink!…

 

Before I could rant, I made a list of what I imagined and what I achieved, here goes;

 

Things I imagined before turning 25.

1. Graduate with honors.
2. Get a masters degree in IE or business.
3. Get a stable job at Timex or Lexmark.
4. Well traveled here in the Philippines.
5. Travel abroad.
6. Give a significant amount to my family
7. Had 10 sexual partners.
8. At least had 2 flings.
9. And with 1 serious relationship whom I’d marry at 27 or 28. wihihi!!!!

 

Things I did before I turned 25…

1. Graduated with honors.
2. Traveled to kalinga, baguio, camiguin, camotes and bohol.
3. Got a job.
4. Lived independently.
5. learned how to swim.
6. Lost 10 Ibs
7. Was able to give at least a little to my family.
8. Had a stable relationship… with my friends.
9. Got DV! Wahahah!!!!

 

As I was assessing both my list, I realized my last 24 years was ok with only little setbacks. Well I guess I better do better before I turn 30. luv luv!!!
