No word if I got my Visa to China yet, but since I found out that the weather will be cold there. I know (plus my manager’s prodding I need close shoes to keep myself warm or else good luck as all I have are slippers!
So I bought myself 2 close shoes one in red and the other in silver (I originally wanted gold)
There were a lot of hitches for the Visa to be processed and personally when I was told I would have to go though the new process of the Chinese Visa Acquisition I was kinda hoping my manager’s decision will change and decide she’d go there herself or have somebody else go there instead of me.
There’s the…
- Bank Certification of at least 50k savings account. – Gahd I had to beg my parents to lend me money for that!
- NBI Clearance valid for Abroad – Imagine I had to wake up 5 am and have to be in the line for 5 hours. Seriously there should be a way to get it online.
- SSS Records – this almost gave me a heart attack
- Chinese Visa Passport Photo – with white background and colored top! I seriously looked horrible in that! I posted my 2 previously ugly Passport pics but this one beat both big time! Ewww! Thus u will not see it. But my very nice friend took a picture of it and I know one day it will surface.
And the Paperworks! I tell u I had to fill up not just 1 or 2 or 3 documents for this Visa to be processed!
Well, I understand where they (Chinese folks) are coming from, I mean once you’ve hosted an Olympic you should have additional requirements right? But then all their consumable goods are being recalled, they should know that tourists won’t be going there that much. Grrr!!!
I’ll just comfort myself that I got myself 2 close shoes for this trip. Maybe I should buy Jackets! Good Luck Again!

Thay look so beautiful
hehe… bayaan mo na Lao, all that paperworks so you can get there (china)… atleast you will have the visa, so next time na papuntahin ka ulit dun ng amo mo, di mo dadaanan ulit lahat yan (pwera na lang kung na-expire or na-deny) waheheheh
