Baby Me

Just got home from a visit at Baby Miguel’s, Ian and Au’s first baby. Sooo cute to watch the two take care of their little one as they were obviously awed and giddy taking care of their firstborn.

So right after, carlo, ken and I got into talking how it was like the eldest, middle or youngest. Carlo could not complain though he was second, he was the first boy so he actually thinks his parents were as excited. I then told them that compared to my other sisters I actually got piles and piles of pictures. My dad is an artist and into photography, I actually got quite great shots. My mom who wasn’t then too busy arranged and religiously marked my pictures per month. Ken then said that she didn’t have baby pics, being the middle child of 6. She could not even look at her old pictures when she was was said to have a ’siopao’ face. Quite sad that I even feel for my sisters.

When I was in highschool I decided to arrange my baby pictures in an album. They followed seeing the results only to find out that they don’t got much. My album was full but my sisters didn’t even fill half. But still I know they just put it in stride as I never heard them complain. Well I guess there are quite a few perks when you’re the eldest.

Proud Bag Tag Maker

The blog has been on hiatus due to my inability to think of something to write or maybe I seriously haven’t got much life.

But on a brighter note, I am now proud to say that instead of watching too much porn I have found a new hobby. Creating bag tags!

It all started when the oc mom ate ricci created 1 for iya’s school bag. So the always envious ken asked me to make one for her and viola I’ve been creating bag tags for friends.

Muar Day 1

 

No major bloopers for me… I did the BKM, follow the crowd. So despite me not understanding the signs in singapore (idiotic me!) I navigated myself quite easily in the airport. The driver was right there when I came out, so all was pleasant. I got a little too excited when I saw the border though. And I swear I saw the cutest malay (the attendant) who was smiling as my quite talkative driver forced a conversation between them. If the driver spoke a better english or I can talk malay, he will be talking to me nonstop too. but good thing as I got a sweet, peaceful 1 hr sleep out of the 4 hr drive. Not too bad for someone who finds it difficult to sleep on the road.

 

Must be a good sign, all may be well let’s see….

 

So my now stage mother and the best malaysian hostess, just made me drop my stuff in my room and hurriedly brought me to Malacca, Muar’s nearest state. So now u see why I got myself a lot of pictures on my day 1. haven’t done much shopping though!

The Tale of the Boarding Bored Gaga

 

I am shaking off anxiety in my coming travel to Muar. I swore after my Shanghai visit that I am not gonna be traveling abroad unless total vacation and not job related. I was close to volunteering my card to be cut off so that other worthy Numonyx Travelers can have one. But here I am in the airport bored and waiting! Idling it all away in my laptop!

 

Wondering what the food in the airplane though…

 

I woke up early, even ready 30 mins prior my pick up time. My roomie ken couldn’t stop teasing me on being very excited! Not to mention that the night before Gil didn’t stop badgering me, asking how excited I am! They all know how irritated I’d get. I wasn’t seriously! I was just extremely anxious, and nervous.  I was hoping I’d enjoy the pristine, white sands of boracay and yet I will be stuck in Muar working.

 

Though I traveled once, this is however my first travel abroad “alone”! The first time I was with 2 guys so I was “no care” following their lead! I am hoping that I’d have minimal bloopers and get to Muar safe. There I’d meet my counterpart Jing Yi who is sooo excited to feed me. Since I love everything spicy I am actually looking forward to fattening myself a little! Despite being miserable I do picture myself “taking picture” outside PETRONAS Towers. Hihihi! I hope malaysia will treat me nicely! I know my counterpart will~~ Good Times!

My 26th and the Holy Week

 

I turned 26 last sat (April 11), this one I anticipated to be uneventful, no expectations as I have long accepted that I am no longer young. I have tried for a year, and to no avail,  be mature and act my age. So this time I am just going through the motions of trying to age gracefully.

This year, though predicted to be not sooo great. I am quite glad that the universe seemed to be conspiring to make things easier. The Holy Week, my bday and the company shutdown are all in the same week which meant that I will be in Cebu to celebrate my 26th with the people dearest to me. All was well, and perfect. There wasn’t even a birthday wish. I was there where I belong showered with too much love.

There is one good thing on celebrating the bday on holy week. For some reason, even when you avoid it. You can’t help but contemplate and discern on the many things in life. That is because there is not much on television but reflections on God’s great love to us.  Nyek! 

Where I Belong

This birthday I went to the core on being happy on the small things, counting the blessings including the people you love and loves you and really celebrating that additional year you are given. Am really glad I am 26! Bow!

Looking Forward!

 

I am almost 26, super single, ridiculously bitter and incredibly bored (though I like it that way). I don’t have much going since I am (really) lazy to go around and explore.

 

So what does this somewhat passive girl look forward to?

I look forward to buying my first point and shoot camera though I wish I’d be spending it on a travel to HK.

I look forward to saving some money so I can buy my Dad SLR.

I look forward to coming home so maybe I can finally totally distract myself off things.

I look forward to wearing dresses in cbu and flaunting my kinda skinny body (am not though but am on my thinnest since highschool)

I look forward to the many pictures my friends will be taking when we go to Alcoy.

I look forward to strolling in the beach and watching the sunset in bora with friends.

I look forward to completing my photoshop masterpiece during the vacation.

I look forward to meeting that person, since if my calculation is correct am meeting him next year. That is if Tatay Eloy is right.

 

Sigh! This girl can look forward to many things!

 

Pangasinan Wedding

 

i got myself to be a bridesmaid/veil in a somewhat far land we will call Pangasinan. Once again I got to witness two people in love, taking a vow to commit to each other forever and again reminding me or everybody that love  can last. Well, am not a fan of weddings now, probably because am bitter. But it was a beautiful wedding nonetheless and my cousin looked really happy.
